After three years of disruption, California’s legendary Highway 1 has finally fully reopened, several months ahead of schedule. This iconic coastal road, which runs along the Pacific Ocean between Los Angeles and San Francisco, once again allows travelers to cross the Big Sur region and enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenery in California.

The stretch between Carmel and Cambria is now accessible to all the road trippers, much to the delight of road trip enthusiasts.

Offer your clients an unforgettable journey along the Central Coast, combining spectacular coastal landscapes with iconic stops.

The trip begins in San Luis Obispo with an overnight stay at the famous Madonna Inn, known for its themed rooms and retro atmosphere, followed by time to enjoy the city’s relaxed vibe. Farther north, Morro Bay captivates visitors with its protected estuary, diverse wildlife, and the striking Morro Rock. The route then continues to Cambria, an artistic town near the magnificent Hearst Castle, before reaching a wilder coastline as Big Sur approaches, with stops in Harmony, at Salmon Creek Falls, and at Ragged Point.
