Mardi Gras is a tradition that is deeply ingrained in the heart of every Louisianan.

Even if you consider yourself a New Orleans Mardi Gras expert, we’re here to say you have not seen anything yet! The celebrations outside of New Orleans are as diverse as the state itself. We celebrate all our roots: Native American, French, Spanish, African-American, Cajun and Creole. Each city in each region of Louisiana has its own way of celebrating Mardi Gras.

We all love Carnival Season, the weeks of parades, feasts, family fun and revelry are part and parcel of this one-of-a-kind and worldwide-known event. Seize the opportunity to combine a Mardi Gras celebration with the discovery of the many attractions Louisiana has to offer: Lafayette and the Cajun culture, the natural beauty of the Atchafalaya Basin and the famous bayous, the historical heritage of the Great River Road and plantations or New Orleans’ vibrant French Quarter and Jazz music venues.

As we say in Louisiana: « Laissez les bons temps rouler ». An invitation no one says no to!
