A historic first for Utah! The MICHELIN Guide has unveiled its very first selection in the American Southwest, and Salt Lake City is making a strong debut with six restaurants recognized.
Located in South Salt Lake, Monte has become the first restaurant in Utah to receive a MICHELIN Star. Set inside Beehive Distilling, Monte offers refined and creative cuisine by Chef Martín Babio, blending French, Italian, and South American influences while showcasing locally sourced ingredients.
Salt Lake City’s culinary scene is also celebrated with three Bib Gourmand selections – Feldman’s Deli, One More Noodle House, and Phở 777 – as well as two Recommended restaurants, Koyote and Star of India.
This inaugural MICHELIN selection highlights the richness and diversity of Salt Lake City’s culinary scene, where creative chefs, local ingredients, and global influences come together.
Another great reason to put Salt Lake City on the menu for your next trip!
