Denver has made a name for itself in the world of gastronomy. Dynamic, creative and full of talented chefs, Colorado’s capital is sure to please even the most delicate taste buds, and suits all budgets.
Denver’s culinary scene is exploding. More than 300 restaurants have opened here in recent years, and 27 restaurants in the city have been distinguished by the Colorado Michelin Guide, celebrating the diversity and excellence of the local dining scene. Four restaurants have been awarded a Michelin star: Beckon, Brutø, The Wolf’s Tailor and Alma Fonda Fina.
The emphasis is on fresh local produce. That’s why the farm-to-table concept, which aims to use local and seasonal ingredients, is so widespread in the city’s restaurants. Here are some of the best addresses: Rioja, Table 6, Work & Class and Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar.
It’s also worth checking out one of the many food halls popping up around town. They offer a variety of cuisines and many are incubators for passionate chefs, such as Avanti Food & Beverage, Denver Milk Market and The Source.
