When the warm weather arrives, Boston comes into its own, with blooming gardens, waterfront strolls and relaxed terrace dining. The season begins in the leafy paths of the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common, then stretches toward the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the banks of the Charles River.

Across its neighborhoods, the city offers a graceful mix of history, nature and urban ease. From Back Bay and Beacon Hill to Cambridge and Seaport, days unfold between museums, rooftops, waterside stops and landmark addresses, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where the flower-filled courtyard captures the spirit of the season beautifully.

Boston also embraces the energy of major sporting and cultural events. The Red Sox bring fans together at Fenway Park, while France will take center stage at Gillette Stadium on June 26 for its FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Norway. The season continues with a lively calendar of outdoor concerts, followed by Sail Boston 250, a major gathering of international tall ships and free harbor front festivities, from ship visits and fireworks to the crew parade.
