Only a 2-hour drive from Los Angeles, fall is the perfect time to enjoy Greater Palm Springs in cooler temperatures than in summer. The region has many hiking trails. Our favourite? The one located on the tribal lands of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, a Native American tribe in Southern California, accessible from the Palm Canyons Trail.

Every Saturday morning from 8 a.m., the Palm Springs Certified Farmers’ Market brings together the stalls of local farmers offering the fruit of their harvests. Moreover, the Palm Springs region is known for its palm trees, but also for its date palms. Let yourself be tempted by fresh dates or other sweet treats made from this fruit!

The Paloma Resort, our favorite hotel of the month. A mix of everything that makes the Coachella Valley so charming: between desert aesthetics, Spanish influences and modernism. Centrally located south of downtown Palm Springs, the Paloma Resort offers easy access to everything the desert has to offer, from golf and shopping to festivals and hiking, as well as its nightlife.
