It is quite an original and unusual hotel which opened its doors in the heart of Downtown Seattle in September 2020.
Lotte Hotel Seattle, latest achievement in the U.S. of the eponymous Korean brand, houses The Sanctuary, America’s first United Methodist Church, known as one of the oldest examples of Beaux-Arts architecture in the country.
The hotel’s stained-glass facade, which reflects Seattle’s skyline, echoes the church’s own stained-glass interior. Inside, 189 elegant rooms and suites, with a vintage and arty decor, inspired by the 40’s and 50’s Seattle’s atmosphere and landscape.
