Starting April 3rd and until October 3rd, 2022, all visitors wanting to access Arches National Park will need to make a reservation for a timed entry ticket.

This new system aims at regulating road traffic in the park, distributing the flow of visitors and therefore at improving the quality of the visitors’ experience and further protecting the environment.

Tickets can only be purchased on https://recreation.gov and slots will be available for purchase 3 months in advance, month by month, according to a schedule established by the park authorities.

For those who have not made their reservation in advance, a limited number of slots will be available for purchase after 6:00 p.m. Utah time on the Recreation.gov website. Reservations are not required for certain categories of visitors (e.g., those who have already reserved a campsite in the park or purchased a hiking permit for the Fiery Furnace, etc.)

For detailed information on this new reservation system, please visit https://www.nps.gov/arch/planyourvisit/timed-entry-pilot.htm
