As part of its 2023 schedule, Icelandair announced its newest North American gateway: Detroit, Michigan. Seasonal flights from Reykjavík, Iceland (KEF) to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) will begin May 18th, 2023 with 4 weekly flights via Iceland on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays through October 30th, 2023. Total flight time from Paris CDG to Detroit via Iceland with around 1-hour transit time will be 11 hours and 15 minutes.

Detroit will be operated via Icelandair’s Keflavík International Airport hub from more than 30 European gateways. Icelandair passengers will also be able to make a stopover in Iceland for up to 7 nights with no additional airfare, en route to their final destination. The unique occasion to discover two destinations in one trip!
