The first phase of the reimagined Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall will open to the public on Friday, October 14 after a seven-year renovation. This will include half of its flagship building with eight new renovated exhibits, the planetarium, museum store and Mars Café opening on the building’s west end.
Free timed-entry passes will be required. The passes are available on the museum’s website since September 14, 2022.
