Aspen Snowmass has kicked off the summer season with the launch of the Silver Queen Gondola, which operates daily from June 16 until September 4. The Elk Camp and Meadows gondolas and chairlifts will begin operations on June 21, which also marks the opening of the Snowmass Bike Park and its 40km of downhill trails for all levels.
From June 28 to August 9, Elk Camp will be offering its « Sunset Tuesdays« .
From June 19 to September 1, 1-hour yoga classes are held at the summit of Aspen Mountain, and from July 8, students from the Aspen Music Festival and School perform in concert as part of « Classical Saturdays« , while on Sundays, the mood is bluegrass.
Finally, the village will host its famous rodeo for a 49th season, every Wednesday at 7pm, from June 21 to August 16, and its no less famous hot-air balloon festival from September 22 to 24.
Free concerts are also offered every Thursday from June 15 to August 24.
