Halloween fans gather in New Orleans on October 21st to celebrate Krewe of Boo, the official Halloween-themed parade since 2007. The entire city is dressed up with terrifying costumes and painted faces to enjoy the floats procession that stretches from the city’s historic Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, through the French Quarter and into the Warehouse District.

Head next to the city of Shreveport to enjoy State Fair of Louisiana from October 26 to November 12. The 117th edition invites visitors to a wide range of activities, including live concerts, carnival rides, exhibitions, rodeo competitions and funfairs.

Food lovers like to meet in the heart of the Cajun country in Larose where the French Food Festival offers an incredible array of local specialty dishes unique to the Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou cuisine.

From October 27 to 29, make the most of this true Cajun vibe with live music, dancing and entertainment. Just a short drive away, Thibodaux is the place to be on November 4th for blues music and epicureans.

Come enjoy the very first edition of the BBQ, Bourbon & Blues Festival. The smell of smokey barbecue, soulful sounds of blues bands and smooth tasty bourbon will appeal to all the senses.
