To date, Aer Lingus offers direct flights from Dublin to New York (JFK and EWR), Boston, Washington, Hartford, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Seattle and Toronto.
In Spring 2024, the Irish airline will launch two new destinations with 4 flights a week: Minneapolis-St. Paul from April 29 and Denver from May 17.
Dublin’s geographical location makes it an ideal airport for transfers from France, particularly Paris CDG and Lyon LYS, to North America. After checking in their baggage at destination, passengers can transfer seamlessly to the transatlantic flight via Terminal 2. US immigration formalities are already completed at Dublin airport during the transfer to the connecting flight.
The advantage of U.S. preclearance is that, on arrival in the U.S., Aer Lingus passengers can avoid long immigration queues and go straight to baggage claim.
