Located north of Seattle, in the middle of the Salish sea, the San Juan Islands are made of 700 islands and reefs, of which many are free of all kinds of civilization. Natural paradise, the islands have more orques, whales and birds than residents. Three ferry-served islands, Lopez Island, San Juan Island and Orcas Island are a haven of peace and a vacation place cherished by residents from Seattle and Washington State.

It is the perfect place to disconnect, recharge your batteries and experience many outdoor activities.

How to get there? Washington State Ferries operates several crossings between the islands and Anacortes, 130km north of Seattle. From May to September, a passenger ferry connects Port Townsend in the Olympic Peninsula to Friday Harbor, on San Juan Island. Kenmore Air also offers seaplane flights between Seattle and the islands.
